The Upper Perkiomen Board of School Directors meet throughout the year to discuss, review and vote on matters that affect the students, parents and taxpayers of the School District.
All meetings are held at the Upper Perkiomen Education Center, 2229 E. Buck Road, Pennsburg, PA unless otherwise noted. The public is invited to attend in order to learn about the developments taking place in the District and to provide input as they see fit.
Agendas for the meetings are posted the week of the meeting, typically 48 hours in advance. Minutes for the meetings are posted immediately after approval, which normally occurs at the next School Board meeting.
The Upper Perkiomen School Board meetings take place on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Education Center, where the school board invites the public to attend and to find out about developments that are taking place throughout the School District. Agenda items will be voted on by the Board at these meetings.
Board Informational Workshop Meetings will be held the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Workshops are held for all Board members to meet and discuss and/or review items in a committee of the whole structure. Standing committees meet only on an as needed basis.
Occasionally, official action may take place at a workshop; however, that is not the norm. The Board holds their Regular School Board Meeting – the second Thursday of the month - to vote on discussed topics and decisions affecting the Upper Perkiomen School District.
