After graduating from Upper Merion High School, I attended Cabrini University, earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I began my teaching career as a Special Education teacher in the vocational schools of Chester and Berks counties. After getting married, I moved to the Upper Perkiomen Valley, well, actually the “Hereford Hills”, in 1978. While my children were students at Hereford Elementary, I volunteered in my children’s classes, became a substitute teacher and then a Title I reading support aide while my family fostered children in our home. In 2007, I began my new career as Special Education teacher Marlborough Elementary. I received my Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University in 2010 and continue to take classes since learning is lifelong! In my free time during the school year, I love to spend time with my grandchildren! In the summer, I love to be with them but exploring the beautiful national wonders of the United States calls to me!
