About Me
About Mrs. Greco
I serve in the position of Title I Reading Specialist. I take care of the Title I reading and writing program in Kindergarten - Third Grade. I work with small groups of students and support teachers.
I graduated from West Chester University in May of 2005 with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Masters' Degree in Education from Kutztown University and hold a Reading Specialist Certificate. I began my teaching career in Boyertown School District as a long-term substitute teaching 1st grade. I then journeyed to Hereford Elementary in the Upper Perkiomen School District. I taught third grade for 3 years and then moved to first grade for 10. Finally, I taught 2nd grade for one year. I am happy to now serve in the position of Title I Reading Specialist!
I love helping my students learn to read and love it! If you child is in the Title I program and working with me, we will work on being effective readers, with attention to phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension. Your child may receive support in the classroom, in a small group, or individually.
Fun Fact: I also have a Plant Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell. Plant based eating is a strong passion of mine!
