Principal's Message

Dear Parents & Families,

It is an honor to introduce myself to you as the new principal at Hereford Elementary School.  More than twenty years ago, I began my professional career in education.  I have served as a classroom teacher, an instructional mentor and as a principal. I know that the faculty and staff of the Upper Perkiomen School District are second to none in terms of their dedication to the students and community we serve.  It is humbling to have the opportunity to return, especially to such a special place as Hereford Elementary School.

It is important to me to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students and families in the Hereford Elementary community to maintain a safe, healthy and student-centered community.  To that end, we want to ensure that all parents:

  • Feel welcome when they enter the school or call the school for any reason;
  • Are able to ask questions and express concerns about their child and the school program;
  • Are provided with information about the school program so that they can support their child’s learning at home;
  • Are offered opportunities to be involved in their child’s education.

The annual parent partnership survey found at the link below is designed to help us continue to refine our programming.  We ask you to take a few minutes to carefully rate your experience.  Select the appropriate description below each statement.  Feel free to add any comments that will help us to understand your experience. We have left a space for this at the end of the survey.

My first day at Hereford is Tuesday, January 11th.  I look forward to meeting you and your child in the coming days and weeks!
