School Board

All Board and Workshop meetings are held at the Education Center - 2229 East Buck Road, Pennsburg.

Two UPHS Students Participate in PMEA District 11 Music Festivals

UPHS students Owen Reinhart (pictured, left), grade 12, and Daniel Gibson (pictured, right), grade 11, recently qualified for and participated in the PMEA District 11 Music Festivals.

Owen Reinhart (Bass I) participated in the District 11 Chorus Festival at Springfield Township High School January 16-18. Through competition at the festival he advanced to the Regional Festival to be held at North Penn High School from February 26-28.

Students compete at the Regional Festival for State Honors and participation at the State Festival in April.

Daniel Gibson, (Violin) was the first string student to qualify for District Orchestra in school history. He participated in the District Orchestra Festival at Hatboro-Horsham High School January 29-31.

The string program was started by Dr. Mark Thomas, high school choir and orchestra director, in the 2000s. UPSD will also be the host of the 2021 District Orchestra Festival.
