Right to Know
Governor Edward G. Rendell signed the new Right-To-Know law on February 14, 2008 fundamentally changing the way people access public records of their government. This new law, which fully takes effect January 1, 2009, mandates certain changes in process. Accordingly, our School District has revised and updated our Board policies, administrative regulations, procedures and fees.
Board Policy, administrative regulations and procedures governing written requests for access to the District's public records are outlined in Board Policy #801 and #801AR.
To request records from the Upper Perkiomen School District, please use the Right-to-Know Request Form (Attachment A in #801AR below) to file a written request. The state Office of Open Records form may also be used - visit the website listed under the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records below for further information.
