Thank you, teachers: Happy Teacher Appreciation Week
This week marked Teacher Appreciation Week 2018 (with May 8 serving as National Teacher Day). We are so grateful for the hard work and dedication of our Upper Perk teachers. They go above and beyond to ensure that our students have a top notch educational experience.
From creating fun and engaging classroom and lab activities to staying after hours to run an after school club or activity, our teachers are incredibly committed to helping their students achieve excellence, both in and out of the classroom.
Please join us in thanking Upper Perk teachers for all that they do!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we invited members of our community to tell us a bit about a teacher that had a positive impact on their life (or the life of their child), whether here at Upper Perk, in a different district or in another educational setting.
As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to share some of those comments. You can check out some of the responses from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram below.

This past summer my daughter was really missing her kindergarten teacher. I reached out to her & she met my daughter during summer library hours at Marlbough. Thank you Mrs. Salmons!! She helped to build a confident reader.
