First Day of School 2020 Signs
The first day of school is always exciting--for students, families, teachers and staff. While the first day of the 2020-21 School Year will look a bit different than in years past, as we begin the academic year in a virtual model, the first day is still something to be proud of and excited about!
Since we had such a positive reaction to last year's Upper Perk back-to-school signs, we decided to update and share new signs, to help document the first day of the 2020-21 School Year's virtual learning.
Simply print the appropriate sign from the list below, snap your student's photo with the sign on the morning of Monday, August 31, and email the photo to communication specialist Nikki Gum at ngum@upsd.org and/or post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #UPSDVirtualFirstDay2020, for potential use on district channels.
Have your own sign you'd prefer to use? Just want to grab a smiling photo of your kiddos? That's great too, you can still feel free to send us your pics and use the hashtag above!
Faculty and staff, we didn't forget about you, and we hope you'll join in on the fun! There is also a general sign that can be downloaded below (not featuring a specific grade). Please snap your first day photos and share them through the same methods listed above.
