First Day of School 2019 Signs
The first day of school is always exciting--for students, families, teachers and staff. In the age of cell phones, social media and the "pics or it didn't happen" mentality, it seems that all of life's big moments are captured on camera, and the first day of a new school year is no exception.
This year, we thought we'd make busy families' lives a bit easier, and offer Upper Perk back-to-school signs to help document the first day. Simply print the appropriate sign from the list below, snap your student's photo with the sign on the morning of Thursday, September 5, and post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #UPSDFirstDay2019. Please feel free to add #Proud2BeUPSD as well! You can also email your photo to communication specialist Nikki Gum at ngum@upsd.org, for potential use on district channels.
Have your own sign you'd prefer to use? That's great too, you can still feel free to send us your pics and use the hashtags above!
Faculty and staff, we didn't forget about you, and we hope you'll join in on the fun! There is also a general sign that can be downloaded below (not featuring a specific grade). Please snap your first day photos and share them through the same methods listed above.
