In the days leading up to the June 12 UPHS Class of 2020 Farewell/Diploma Pick-up Ceremony, the Upper Perkiomen School District will feature every graduating member of the Class of 2020. We gave students the opportunity to add to their profiles and share a little bit about their experiences at Upper Perk, as well as their future plans. Each day, leading up to June 12, we will feature a small number of senior homerooms so our community can learn more about each graduate.

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
Football, Track and Field, UPN Club, and Yearbook Club

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
Mini THON had the most impact on me as it was one of the best events to stay all night at the school and bond with your friends and raise money for a cause.

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
Football

What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to go to Kutztown and major in business

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
I hope to be successful and live life to the fullest

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
Color guard with marching band, stage crew, gamer's club, SkillsUSA

Friends

What are your plans for after graduation?
Gap year

Mrs.C /Mr.E, both gave great advice and good stories I won’t forget about

DeSales University, nursing

I hope to work in hospital and work with kids or adults

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
Yearbook, Leo’s Club, NHS, Student Council, Link Crew 

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
Becoming a chief editor in Yearbook had the most profound impact on me. It allowed me to collaborate with other students, create friendships, be involved with activities around school, and embrace creativity and leadership. 

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
The one thing I will miss most about Upper Perk is the friendships and memories I have created since Elementary School. 

What are your plans for after graduation?
I will be attending West Virginia University to major in Forensic Biology. 

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
I hope to work in a DNA crime lab for the FBI.

Cheerleading, FBLA, NHS

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
I will miss cheering at Friday night football games.

What are your plans for after graduation?
Attend West Virginia University with a major in Biochemistry

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
I hope to go into the medical field and create new medications.

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
FBLA & Link Crew

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
Being a part of Link Crew had a big impact on me. Being able to give the incoming freshman an orientation made me feel like I was doing something helpful for others. Showing them around the school, giving them advice, answering their questions made me feel good & made me wish I had that as an incoming freshman. 

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
Seeing all of my classmates that I grew up with.

What are your plans for after graduation?
I will be attending Montgomery County Community College with a business major.

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
I hope to eventually work within a hospital.

Tyler Phuong Do

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
I was in Gamer’s Club for 2 years in 9th grade and 10th grade

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
Mr. Leskusky had a good impact on me because he changed my point of view in reading books

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
Friends and teachers

What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan on working as a chef and going to college

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
Open up my own restaurant or food truck

Adam Jeffrey Dockery

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
Tennis, FBLA, Mini-thon

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
The humanities classes I took with Hontz and Leskusky changed my perspective on the world, and made me better understand that people with different perspectives than me are not any more right or wrong than me. 

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
Playing tennis matches with my team

What are your plans for after graduation?
Attending Michigan State University with a major in physics

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
Get a doctorate in physics and become a researcher

Sean Patrick Drager

What activities were you most involved in during high school?
Tennis, Leo's Club, FBLA

Which teacher/class/experience had a profound impact on you, and why?
Having online school during my senior year, and missing out on a normal graduation, senior class trip, and prom. This had a profound effect on me because I have been looking forward to this since the start of high school, and even back in elementary school. 

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
My friends 

What are your plans for after graduation?
Attending West Chester University and majoring in Computer Science 

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
My ultimate goal in life is to get a Masters in Computer Science

Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Track and Field, FBLA. mini-THON, Student Council, FCA, Orchestra, 9th Grade Academy Tutor, National Honor Society, Link Crew, St. Luke's Medical Career Academy

What is the one thing you will miss most about Upper Perk?
The class and club trips with classmates. 

What are your plans for after graduation?
Going to Wilkes University to obtain my Pharmacy Doctorate and continue my athletic career in field hockey. 

What is your ultimate goal in your career/life?
Obtain my Pharm D. and become an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist.
