The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires each school district to prepare and submit a
“Comprehensive Plan” as part of long range future plans. Comprehensive Planning is a process used to ensure that all students are achieving at high levels. Continuous planning is essential to providing increased student performance and quality results. Innovative, exemplary, and research-based programs, coupled with professional development, focused and aligned resources and public participation in planning, are critical factors in districts that demonstrate continuous growth.
The District stakeholder team was made up of parents, community partners, teachers, board members, students and administrators to provide input for the Plan.
The proposed Plan's 28-day comment period is now closed; however, you can still read it by clicking the buttons below. A summary of the plan will provided at the March 27th School Board Workshop meeting, prior to the school board voting on its approval.
We are extremely grateful for the dedication of our committee members in undertaking the work necessary to complete the proposed Plan and look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.
