With approximately 3,300 students and four schools, the Upper Perkiomen School District, which is situated in the Upper Perkiomen Valley (Pennsburg, Red Hill, East Greenville, Green Lane, Barto, and Sumneytown), Pennsylvania, tends to reflect the community which it operates in--small town atmosphere, test scores above the national average and the district's yearning to improve their students' education to the fullest degree.
The four district schools include: Hereford Elementary, Marlborough Elementary, Upper Perkiomen Middle School and Upper Perkiomen High School. With a brand-new middle school scheduled to open on Montgomery Avenue for the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the district will add a fifth building for grades 4 and 5 in the current middle school building, which will undergo a renovation during summer 2019.
