Construction Information

While there is no significant construction planned for Hereford or Marlborough during the 2019-2020 school year, the district is in the process of seeking a Safe Schools grant for a new secure entrance at Marlborough Elementary. New Schedule

The student day for full-day kindergarten through grade three will run from 8:35 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A.M. kindergarten will run from 8:35 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. and P.M. kindergarten will run from 12:50 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The elementary schools will run on a five day schedule.

While the A.M. and P.M. kindergarten days will be a few minutes shorter than in recent years, our half-day kindergarten students will actually be gaining instructional minutes with their classroom teacher. Previously, half-day kindergarten students left their classrooms for specials, but with the new schedule, inclusionary specials will be offered in the kindergarten classrooms by special area teachers. This schedule adjustment will also enable kindergarten teachers to have a set lunch and prep time in the middle of the day.
