Welcome to the 4-5 Center! As the Reading Specialist, it is my goal to support students, families, and teachers as students acquire the reading skills that will enable them to reach their full potential.
Since beginning my teaching career in 2006, I've taught many grade levels, with most of my years spent in grades 3-5. I am a true lifelong learner, holding teaching certificates in the areas of Elemetary Education K-6, Reading Specialist K-12, and ESOL (English as a Second Language) K-12. I am also a National Board Certified teacher. I love teaching ELA and my mission is to help each student to find joy in reading and writing. As the Reading Specialist at the 4-5 Center, I look forward to working with you to help your child to grow as a reader and writer. Please do not hesitate to reach out!
