Meet Miss Peart

Miss Peart

Welcome to Fifth Grade! My name is Nicole Peart and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year!

I am a 2007 graduate of West Chester University. I am currently in my twelfth year of teaching at Upper Perkiomen School District. I have taught first, second, and third grades. This is my second year teaching fifth grade. I received my Master's of Education at Kutztown University in 2012. I also have a Reading Specialist's Certification.

In my free time, I like to read, bake (especially chocolate chip cookies), cook new recipes, run 5ks, travel, play with my dog, Jack, and spend time with my family and friends.

I am truly looking forward to working with you and your child this school year. Together, we will make a difference in your child's life! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or email me.

Reading

Your child must read for twenty minutes each night.

Spelling

Your child will take their spelling tests every other Friday. Grammar lessons will be taught during the weeks when there is not an assigned spelling list. They are responsible for studying their words for the upcoming week. There will be no assigned homework.
