4th Grade Supplies

2019 - 2020

Dear Students and Parents,

We know that many families enjoy shopping as they look forward to a new school year and teachers often receive questions regarding recommended school supplies. Due to space limitations and to help you avoid making unnecessary purchases, we have compiled a list of important items for fourth graders to use in school throughout the year. Please read carefully, as there are deletions, additions, and exceptions for certain teachers.

  • 2 yellow highlighters
  • #2 pencils (sharpened already if possible) Disposable mechanical pencils work great too.
  • pack of 12 colored pencils
  • box of 12 crayons
  • 1 red pen
  • Fine point, unscented dry-erase markers
  • 1 Clean Old Sock (for dry erase boards)
  • 2 glue sticks
  • Pair of earbuds/headphones (these do not need to be new!)

*Items that would also be helpful in our classroom would be: family size boxes of tissues, a container of sanitizing wipes, a pack of wide-ruled notebook paper

The fourth grade teachers will be working in teams of 2 next year with one teacher responsible for teaching ELA and one teacher responsible for teaching Math, Science/Social Studies. Please find your child’s homeroom teacher below for additional supplies needed for their team.
