“Getting Better Together”

This Upper Perkiomen School District motto guides us in all we do. We promote, recognize and celebrate one another’s success stories. A premium is placed on establishing and maintaining collaboration. Two notable by-products of this are the fact that all of our schools have achieved national “Blue Ribbon” status and we have never experienced a teacher strike.

Over the past few years, we have established summer academies for teachers, modernized time and scheduling for grades K-8, raised graduation requirements, revitalized our arts program, implemented a state of the are Supervision and Evaluation Plan, created new positions for master teachers in order to expedite educational delivery, and fully funded veteran teachers in their pursuit of National Board Certification.

We focus on quality student experiences rather than mere snapshots of student outcomes. Presently, we are immersed in a three-year initiative that will result in a clearly articulated K-12 curriculum, common and balanced assessments, and a shift in program response from remediation to intervention. As we move our practice to one characterized by open sharing and a focus on improvement, we would invite you to join us!
